To become a Registered Nurse in Prince Edward Island, applicants must meet the following requirements established by CRNMPEI.

Step 1 – Apply Through NNAS

Step 5 – Pass the NCLEX-RN Exam

All CRNMPEI registrants must obtain Professional Liability Protection (PLP) through the Canadian Nurses Protective Society (CNPS).

Under the Regulated Health Professions Act, nurses must maintain professional liability insurance.
