Candidate instructions

These outline exactly what the candidate must demonstrate in the station. For example: “You are a registered adult nurse working on the medical assessment unit. Please conduct a holistic assessment of the patient’s physical, psychosocial, spiritual and sexual care needs.“

All instructions are written to be realistic and closely reflect real exam briefs.

Patient script

The patient script provides guidance to the person playing the patient role (if present). It outlines the background details, example phrases, and notes on which information should be shared only upon request, helping to keep the station consistent and realistic.
