full-time Endowed Chair in The Louise Herrington School of Nursing (LHSON).
The Louise Herrington School of Nursing (LHSON) at Baylor
University invites applications for an Endowed Chair in Mental Health Nursing position. The qualified candidate must be a nurse with either
a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD), Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) or Doctor of Education (EdD) degree with well-established research program in
the broad category of mental health, has strong record of significant extramural research funding and publications with commitment to
education and mentorship. The Endowed Chair must have strong leadership and mentoring experience and a commitment to diversity, equity, and
inclusion. The candidate is expected to work collaboratively with researchers at LHSON and other researchers in various schools/colleges of
Baylor University such as Social Work, Education, Psychology, Health and Human Sciences.

Description
The Endowed Chair will be a complementary position with the newly established Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse
Practitioner track which admits students inAugust 2023. The successful candidate will be officing in the Academic Building of the Louise
Herrington School of Nursing at 333 N. Washington Ave., Dallas, Texas.
Additional Information:
Baylor
University only hires Christian faculty members. Salary to be determined by experience and funding sources. The candidate is expected to
teach. This is a senior position. The PhD candidate is expected to meet the standards for a tenured appointment and has a choice of 10- or
12-month appointment. The DNP candidate is a 12- month appointment without tenure line.
Dallas based candidates are
preferred.
Qualifications
The qualified candidate must be a nurse with
