Now you can enroll online on the Indian nursing council using an Aadhar card. The detailed press release is below.
Attention of Self enrolled/enrolment of Nurses in the Nurse Registration and Tracking System (NRTS).
This is to inform you that, till now the Aadhar Authentication based Bio metric
(finger scanner) authentication was done at respective State Nursing Councils
with a proper prior appointment for self-enrolled nurses. Now the OTP (One
Time Password) with Aadhar linked mobile number has been made
operational in NRTS with the help of NIC and UIDAI. With this all the nurse
who have not enrolled in NRTS can enrol and authenticate their application with
OTP received on Aadhar linked mobile, upload the photograph along with all
the certificates (scan copies of original certificates; do not scan photocopies of
certificates). After that SNRC will verify and approve the same if, all the
documents are correct for generation of NUID Number.
The nurses who are already self-enrolled, and waiting for the appointment with SNRC will receive their application back from SNRC. After receiving back one can login and authenticate with OTP and upload the photographs and re-submit the form. After that SNRC will verify and approve the same, if all the documents are correct for generation of NUID Number.
