New Delhi: India is seeing a slight rise in COVID-19 cases. The country reported 3,962 active COVID cases in the last twenty four hours. The daily positivity rate stands at 2.17 per cent while the weekly positivity slowed down to 3.13 per cent.
The country is again witnessing an increment in COVID cases after a decline in the active case load was observed in the last few days. The active COVID-19 cases in the country are currently 36,244.
Meanwhile, the recovery rate is currently 98.73 percent, and 7,873 recoveries have been made in the past 24 hours, which increases total recoveries to 4,43,92,828.
However, 2,363 vaccination doses have been administered within the last 24 hours, whereas 220.66 crore total vaccinations have been administered so far, according to the Union Health Ministry.
