New Delhi: India saw a substantial rise to 9,355 new COVID cases in the last 24 hours, while the active cases in the country stand at 57,410, which is 0.13 per cent, as per the Union Health Ministry’s bulletin. The death toll has increased to 5,31,424 with 24 deaths.
A total of 92.60 crores of COVID-19 tests has been conducted so far in the country, and 2,29,175 tests were conducted in the last 24 hours, as per the health bulletin. The daily positivity rate is 4.08 per cent and the weekly positivity rate is 5.36 per cent.
As per the Union Health Ministry, India has administered 220.66 crores total vaccine doses (95.21 crores second dose and 22.87 crore precaution dose) of COVID-19 have been administered so far under the nationwide vaccination drive and 4,358 doses were administered in the last 24 hours.
A total of 12,932 recoveries were reported in the last 24 hours increasing the total recoveries to 4,43,35,977. The national recovery rate currently stands at 98.69 per cent.
