The School of Architecture, Computing and Engineering is an award-winning, multidisciplinary hub that offers a groundbreaking education built on outstanding applied research and encouraging customer relationships that crafts the lives of our communities locally and globally. The School has a proud history of offering industry driven and career-focused vocational courses, from architecture, art and design, computing and digital technologies, construction and surveying, to a range of engineering disciplines. About the Job
The successful candidate will lead and manage academic staff in the subject area of Engineering & Construction. You will have responsibility for budget, for operational matters, and for the development of staff and the subject area. You will assist in the development of the School’s strategic and operational plans and to be an active and positive member of the School Executive Team (SET), engaged and leading on cross-School and University initiatives as appropriate. To engage personally in high quality teaching, research and external engagement and relationships that further the strategic aims of the University and School. You will facilitate and encourage best practice with reference to learning, teaching and student engagement.
