UHI North, West and Hebrides is one of ten academic partners and research centres that make up UHI. This unique partnership allows us to deliver further and higher education programmes at our 19 campuses and centres across the North and West Highlands, Skye and the Outer Hebrides.
UHI North, West and Hebrides are seeking to recruit an Energy KE Researcher to join our multi-disciplinary group working at the forefront of the energy transition across Scotland and internationally. The post is embedded within the multi-disciplinary ‘Energy’ research group, and working in association with the Energy KE Coordinator and the Chair of UHI Energy Innovation.
The Researcher will assist in energy-related knowledge exchange activities and support collaborative research projects as part of UHI’s Energy Innovation Team.
You should hold a Degree, Masters or PhD in a relevant discipline and have experience in working in a research or high education environment.
You should have strong IT and communication skills and a willingness to work flexibly across different disciplines.
Experience of instigating new collaborations or developing partnerships would be advantageous.
This is a temporary post for 1 year initially (subject to probationary period) and located in Thurso.
