Job Summary
This position is for a Full Time Tenure Track 12-month Assistant Professor position in the School of Nursing at Radford University’s Radford and Roanoke, VA locations, providing opportunities for collaborative practice and scholarship with a variety of disciplines within the University. Responsibilities include teaching, scholarship and service with the expectation of recent clinical practice. Requirements include the education, experience, certification and desire to teach in the clinical setting in the undergraduate and/or graduate programs. Experience in Pediatric Acute Care is preferred.

Required Qualifications
Doctorate in Nursing or both MSN and doctorate in related discipline (PhD or EdD), or ABD status in final stage of degree completion. ABD candidates would be hired at a rank of Instructor until the doctorate is complete. Unencumbered Virginia licensure eligibility is required.
Preferred Qualifications
Preference will be given to those with the education, leadership experience, certification and desire to teach subject matter determined by SON. Recent clinical experience desired. Prior teaching experience in the classroom, online, the skills laboratory, the health assessment laboratory, and in the clinical practice setting is desired. Experience in Pediatric Acute Care.
