Assistant/Associate/Professor and Chair of the Nursing Program

Grove City College invites applications for a Chair and full-time faculty position in our Charles Jr. & Betty Johnson School of
Nursing. The rank will be determined based on the applicant’s academic experience.

This program is a unique collaborative
educational experience combining science and liberal arts classes at Grove City College (GCC) with nursing courses and clinical experiences
at Butler Community College (BC3). Students can earn their RN licensure at the end of year three and complete their fourth year online while
earning a BSN.

Butler County Community College provides a state-of-the-art hospital-like experience for students in its new $14
million dollar Victor K. Phillips Nursing and Allied Health Building. It provides an immersive learning environment with simulated surgery
and ICU rooms modeled after Butler Memorial Hospital.

Successful candidates should have a terminal degree PhD, DNP, EdD or be near
completion of a terminal degree from an accredited institution. A minimum of 3 years of clinical and academic teaching experience is
desired.

This position will serve as the Chair of the Nursing program at GCC and will oversee and administer all aspects of the
program. They will coordinate all activities with BC3. Candidates must demonstrate a strong potential for excellence in classroom teaching
and a commitment to educating highly motivated students within the context of Grove City College’s historic Christian perspective. An
instructional workload of approximately 12 credit hours per academic year is expected with the balance allocated to administrative
tasks.

Responsibilities include:

· Ensure compliance with the Accreditation Commission for Education
in Nursing (ACEN) regulatory and accreditation standards for the BSN portion of the program at GCC.

· Ensure compliance with
the Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE) for GCC.

· Manage program curriculum, including scheduling,
implementation, and evaluation.

· Prepare and manage the program’s annual budget.

· Provide academic and
career advice to nursing students.

· Support activities of administrative departments, such as admissions, registration, and
career services.

· Represent the nursing program at community and campus events, in meetings with other institution
personnel, and during the reaccreditation process.

· Conduct annual assessments of student learning outcomes.

·
Participate in the selection and evaluation of new faculty as required.

· Collaborate with the Dean of Nursing and Allied
Health at BC3
